Café. Waiting. Love (等一個人咖啡)

Apparently this photo was not well taken hence I blur out my face >< This was the main outlet, exactly the same one as shown in the movie. I followed this blogger instruction to get to this cafe. But after I alight at the mentioned bus stop, I just switch to my google map to lead me there *thumb up*

The cafe itself is quite a small one, it was full house when we reach there around 2-3pm taiwan time and we waited for about 5-10 minutes for our seats, quite a fast wait. Each table is limited to 2 hours for dinning.

I like the concept of the shop, it give off the cosy and relaxing feel when you're there.

My favourite Earl Grey Milk Tea at 165NT I love it so much! Give it a try if you're a fan of earl grey

Apparently the price at the cafe is quite reasonable and the food itself is delicious. Oh, all prices are not inclusive of service charge. And here come a bonus! We meet the male lead actor in the movie at the cafe, Marcus.He was having a TV show interview. Looking good in real. His smile is so cute but too bad I didn't ask for a photo with him.

Taiwan Trip - Wisteria Butler Cafe

Finally I am able to go Taiwan after saying it for so many years *laugh*. The hotel / apartment which I stayed for the 7 days in Taiwan is Color Studio台北酒店式公寓, which is introduce by my best friend (: This is how my room look like, I booked Room 8, you may hit this link to check out their other rooms. I paid SGD 225 (each pax) for 7 days 6 nights for this hotel. 

So far the room is nice and clean to me, toilet as well. I am super particular when it come to clean room and toilet when I travel. Location wise, this hotel is located at XiMenDing （西門町）but is not near the Subway station, I think it about 5-10 minutes walk to the station. Our hotel is near to MacDonald and 7-11.

How could I not visit a butler cafe at Taiwan when I'm so into anime, butler stuff. hahaha! Who doesn't want to be treated like a princess? As such, I found Wisteria butler cafe through google. Wisteria is located at XiMenDing which is near to our hotel, just a 5 minutes walk which is a good thing as I tend to get lost. =P

Please visit their facebook book appointment. You may choose to walk-in as well but it not recommended as the cafe is usually full house. They have different time slot to visit, you may click the link which I copy. The slow which I booked is 4.30pm, initially I wanted to book the last slot but they said that because there's a lot of incident which foreigner booked the last slot but end up didn't turn up ><

Once you reach there, please wait at the staircase area for the butler to bring you up to the shop. We were sort of awkward when we were there. The shop is full of female customers, the only 2 guys in there are my friends. *laugh* Before you enter the shop, the butler will ask you to pass your belonging to him as he will carry it for you. The butlers will address you as "大小姐" or "少爺" when you're there. 

They will explain to you some rules before you can start ordering your food. We can only dine there for 1 hour 45 minutes. We took the set menu and to my surprise the food taste quite good. There's one which taste like our Chili crab! There are games and plush toy which you can play with.  The theme that they had when I was there was Airline, so the butler dress up as cabin crew. There's was one who even dress up as stewardess! He (she) was so pretty ><

I ordered clam cream pasta with milk tea

This is the one which I said taste like our Chili Crab! I think it spicy chicken.

Before I went to the butler cafe, I did read a lot of review that the butler will pour you your tea, and they will ask you how many cubes of sugar do you want to add into your drinks. And so, I saw someone mentioned in her blog that they have very nice waffles as well and I could I resisted it, I love waffles and so I ordered it. To my surprise, they even cut it for us before we start eating *so sweet* Indeed, I really love their waffles. 

They talk to us to make us less awkward and asked us questions about singapore. End up me and my friends start to play some games and we were so high and crazy when suddenly one of the butler, 伊恩, came to our table with handcuffs! And there goes my craziness. hahaha! oh ya! They are very thoughtful, reason is when I went to the ladies, they have all sort of thing in there for us ladies, kotex, make up, cotton pads, lens solution and more! Where can you find this kind of toilet in sg?

Before time up, we were serve with a free cocktail for only our table! I was shock when he serve the cocktail and I ask my friends, did we order it and I told the butler that we did not order it and he told me that it was on the house. So good, I love free things, who doesn't! hahahah!

After payment, they passed each of us a card to collect points. From what I read at their FB and also blog, they say that once you collect all points you can ask for the butler to do something in exchange. I don't think I'll be able to collect it all since I don't live at there T_T

That's my experience for the first butler cafe which I went in my whole life! *laugh* You may find it weird why there isn't any photos of the butler, reason is we are not allow to take photo of them. This is one of the rules which they set. I'll definitely visit there again if I were to go Taiwan again. You may want to try it if you're going Taiwan. A great experience. 

Dazzling Cafe Deluxe (蜜糖吐司專賣店)

Taiwan famous cafe have launched it very 1st outlet in Singapore. Located at Capital Piazza. Some history about Dazzing Cafe, it very first outlet in Taiwan was opened in 2010, Dazzling Pink. Which now they have expanded with 7 outlets in Taiwan, Taipei, Xing Zhu, Tai Chung & Tai Nan.

The outlet in singapore is quite a small one. I reach there around 2pm and the queue numbers has been given out and was told by the manager that I need to come back again after 6pm to get the queue number. After all the hassle, finally I am given my seats at 7.15pm (phew). Honestly I love their interior.

 This is the VIP room (if I'm not wrong) you may want to call up Dazzling for more enquires regarding this room.

 Cream of Mushroom (SGD 8.90). So far, this taste normal to me, not really fantastic or nice but just normal.

Truffle Fries (SGD 10.90) to be honesty, this is the worst truffle fries which I ever had. Don't have the taste of truffle, it just like normal fries which you can get at Mcdonalds. The only thing which I like about the fries is, the thickness of it. 

The highlight of the day - Hazelnut Chocolate Honey Toast (SGD 19.90) this is awesome! The toast itself comes with 3 different texture, soft, normal or hard which the waitress will ask you. We got the normal toast, 3 different layer which consist of 3 different flavour in it. 

When the toast is being served, the waitress or waiter will tell you that "please inform any of us once you have done taking photo of it" and they will explained what's inside the toast and serve you.

Second layer were Nutella toast, yummy!

Strawberry Ice Cream Waffle (SGD 14.90) served with 3 different syrup, strawberry jam, maple syrup & condensed milk. The waffle is kinda hard, not like those soft and fluffy waffle. I love the ice cream, taste awesome.

Great atmosphere and good service. You may want to head down to Dazzling Cafe to have a try of it. Dazzling cafe deluxe is located at Capitol Piazza, nearest MRT station is, City hall, exit D.

NOM - Bistro & Bakery

Mushroom soup + Smoke Salmon Salad for dinner. I can't remember the drink though but nevertheless, the mushroom soup was not bad.
